Under the Seasons (Feature documentary film)
Under the Seasons is a documentary film following a mother and daughter through a year in North Texas, structured around the twenty-four solar terms of the traditional East Asian calendar.
Filmed between the ages of three and four, the child encounters the world through seasons, weather, plants, animals, food, and the rhythms of everyday family life. Spanning the year between one Beginning of Spring and the next, the film follows the ordinary events that shape the passage of a year.
