An autobiographical novel based on the seven days the author spent in the aftermath of a major earthquake on the Tibetan Plateau in 2010.
The book records a world where faith is present in both life and death. Through eyewitness observation and personal reflection, it portrays that world at an extraordinary moment of catastrophe and the people living within it.
